The Black Stallion is a 20,000 sqft 24-bedroom home in the Outer Banks with beautifully landscaped grounds, spacious decks and a gorgeous pool space perfect for an al fresco wedding reception. If you’re looking to make your wedding last a little longer, having your guests stay for a long weekend or even a full week is possible with the Black Stallion wedding venue.

Capacity: 150 seated and sleeps up to 55
Pricing: In addition to the home rental rate (minimum night stays fluctuate throughout the year), there are state and local tax fees of 12.8%, a $3,000 security fee fully refundable with no damage, and an insurance policy around $200.

The Merrimon-Wynne House is a picturesque and historic estate wedding venue on an acre of beautifully maintained and landscaped grounds. The epitome of southern charm and elegance, this wedding venue is conveniently located in the heart of historic downtown Raleigh. You’ll be transported to the European Countryside without ever leaving North Carolina with this stunning venue. With exclusive access to this 16 acre sprawling estate, the Bradford has two getting ready suites, two ballrooms, a terrace, gardens, table and chair inventory as well as the ability to stay overnight.

Pricing: 2025 pricing ranges from $5,800 – $10,000 depending on the day of the week and length of time. They also offer a mini overnight Thursday to Friday rental for $15,000 as well as a full luxury weekend experience starting at $30,000.

A charming historic wedding venue located in downtown Greensboro, the McAlister-Leftwich House has three main spaces. One space is the Leftwich house, which boasts 4 rooms with 14’ ceilings most commonly used for cocktail hour or intimate ceremonies. The second space is the McAlister house which has their recently renovated spacious reception area. The final space is the lawn, with two different ceremony spaces and plenty of room for al fresco dining.

Pricing: Their 2024 all-inclusive pricing ranges from $7,500-$10,000 depending on the day of the week. There is a Friday and Saturday beverage minimum of $2,500 on top of the base price. Catering is $82/person and includes china, flatware, glassware, buffet dinner, appetizers, nonalcoholic beverages, cake, catering staff and 18% service charge. Located in the gorgeous Myers Park neighborhood of Charlotte, the Duke Mansion is the premium standard for elegance and luxury when it comes to Charlotte weddings. It is located on 4.5 acres of private gardens and has 20 beautifully decorated guest rooms. Their main ceremony space is either the courtyard or the lawn and options for either an indoor or outdoor reception space.
