Fall Engagement Photos in Blowing Rock, NC

Alexa and Charles didn’t take long to decide on Julian Price Memorial Park in Blowing Rock, NC for their fall engagement photos. They like to vacation in Blowing Rock , and if you’ve ever been there you know why. Blowing Rock, NC is stunning, quaint and with plenty of opportunity for outdoor activities. It has an adorable downtown with mom and pop retail shops, restaurants and coffee shops. I recommend Bald Guy Brew on Main St.

Alexa and Charles chose Julian Price Memorial Park right off the parkway for most of their photos and an ending stop at a lookout about 10 minutes away. Julian Price Memorial park is the perfect spot for fall engagement photos. It has long, golden grass, wide open fields and a beautiful little stream running through it. Not to mention, it’s huge so there’s plenty of privacy! We were able to get dreamy fall engagement photos at golden hour and we didn’t have to go very far. We parked in the main parking lot and walked about 10 minutes with more than enough photo opportunities.

After we were done at Julian Price, we decided to drive about 10 minutes to one of the many Blue Ridge Mountain overlooks to get some photos with a view of the mountains. We didn’t have much room to walk around since we stopped at a steep cliff edge but with the light disappearing quickly, we were able to grab a few gorgeous photos and call it a wrap anyways!
