99% of the time when I meet a couple for their engagement session, we are meeting for the first time. For Melissa and Colton’s uptown Charlotte engagement session, this was no different. Except that these two were so comfortable with each other and so fun to be around that I immediately felt like I’d known them for years. We had a blast running around uptown with their dog Lily getting a mix of editorial and candid style shots.
Melissa had JUST finished her doctorate, they had moved states into their new house in Charlotte literally the day before our engagement session AND were planning their wedding. I was shook. I can barely function if I have two appointments in one week, people (kidding, kind of). We had a blast getting to know each other and capturing some adorable moments in their new city and I truly cannot WAIT for their wedding day!!
